All Adult Channel and All Adult Cash on Friday released a download-to-DVD option that will enable surfers to transfer content from the All Adult sites to their own storage media.
The announcement drew support from several leading adult companies, who stressed the importance of the advancement.
“This is a first for adult film companies,” says Mike C., general manager of Vivid Entertainment. “Customers no longer need to leave their houses to watch a DVD, wait for the mailman, or watch movies on their PC. With All Adult Channel, they can download [adult] titles straight to DVD format to watch on their home theater systems. Not only do customers receive the feature film, [but] they also get the extras, behind the scenes, and the menu capabilities from the actual DVD.
Michael Greeson, founder of Texas-based consumer electronics think tank The Diffusion Group, adds, “Leave it to the porn industry once again to take the lead on this stuff. The rest of Hollywood stands back and watches and lets the pornography industry work out all the bugs.”
All Adult Cash’s marketing director, Tera Lord Masters, stresses the advancement’s respect for the privacy of adult surfers.
“Being anonymous is often a priority for our customers, and we are happy to cater to their needs,” she says, adding that affiliates also can take advantage of the situation. “Advertising All Adult Channel through All Adult Cash means you are offering surfers what they want: up-to-date technology and the most user-friendly options.”
