With a "Smilie Scavenger Hunt" in conjunction with SobeGirl.com, AdultWebmasterHangout.com has re-launched, AdultContent.com said April 9.
The contest will award the winner any video or still image content set from SobeGirl.com for free, a $200 or better value, depending on the winner's selection, but it's for registered Hangout members only. And, they'll have to submit a short interview to the Introduce Yourself thread by April 22 to be entered and eligible for the contest.
And, once entered, they'll have to find ten smilies or emoticons at the Hangout, five of which are buried around SobeGirl.com, and five more buried around AdultChamber.com's home site. The first Webmaster who finds all ten and sends the ten correct URLs in a private message to board administrator Cyndalie wins the prize.
Meanwhile, the re-launched site features a new design, logo, and even an easy-to-type abbreviated domain name, AWH.com. "The gem of this launch," AdultContent.com said in a statement, "is the updated message board software that offers a range of enhancements not found at many other boards."
They've left intact all the member information and threads of the past three years, but now members can pick an avatar, customize a home page, subscribe for e-mail notification on thread responses which will include the entire thread and not just a link. Members can also pick out default colors, style sheets, and protect their privacy with private messaging rather than published e-mail addresses, AdultContent.com added.
The open topics on the new Hangout are pretty much as they had been on the old Hangout, from "Webmaster Hangout" and "Traffic Jam" to "Newbie Neighborhood" and even the laid-back "Chill Session," not to mention the "Sounding Board" thread for those wanting reviews, and "Graffiti Wall" for those among the shameless self-promotion crowd, as AdultChamber.com puts it.
