Club Jenna exclusive/former Pleasure Productions girl Krystal Steal, a petite blonde bundle of sexual energy, called AVN for a chat while she bravely navigated rush hour traffic on the I-5 towards her Orange County domicile after a hard day of shopping on Melrose. We started our chat by asking her about her debut Club Jenna release, Krystal Method, an Editor?s Choice in the March AVN.
AVN: So Krystal Method went well for you?
Steal: Oh, that was awesome. That was my first time working with Jenna [Jameson], and as I said, my first movie with Club Jenna, and it was probably one of the greatest things I've ever shot. I worked with Eric Masterson. I did a boy/girl with him and girl/girl with Jenna, and there was a boy/girl anal sex scene that was going on, and I was in it but I wasn't doing anything. I think I was just masturbating on the side. I don't know if that really counts as a scene.
AVN: I think it does. You're there. You're masturbating. And the voyeurism is part of the sexual energy of the scene.
Steal: Yeah, I was there. I got to watch all the good stuff.
AVN: Were you coaching?
Steal: No, I was just perving.
AVN: Bad girl.
Steal: I'm a perv. I don't do anal, so when I watch other people do anal. I'm really intrigued by it.
AVN: Is there anything else you don't do?
Steal: I don't do anal. I don't do gangbangs. I won't do more than two guys at a time.
AVN: Where are you from originally?
Steal: Born and raised in Orange County; my parents are still married. My brothers and sisters are all from the same mom and dad. I came from a great home.
AVN: Which begs the question, how did you end up in porn?
Steal: I started dancing when I was 17. I had a little fake check cashing ID, and I went to a shit hole strip club where they didn't really cause too much waves for IDs. Then I started doing bachelor parties and higher end parties up in Beverly Hills. And then I just decided why not try doing movies and see if it's something I could even do. Did one, and here I am today. I love my job.
AVN: Where did you get your name?
Steal: I chose Krystal because I wanted something pretty, and then I wanted to team it up with something hard, something gnarly. Like good and evil. So I thought Krystal worked for the pretty, and then Steal for the hard.
AVN: When do you think you'll know that you've made it? What will it take?
Steal: I don't think I could tell you something specifically. I'll just know. I'll know when I've accomplished what I set out to do. It doesn't necessarily mean that I have to win all the awards.
AVN: Are you a real bisexual or just for the camera?
Steal: Yes. I love women. The first time I was with a girl, I was 14. When I was younger, people in school used to tease me and make fun of me because I liked girls. They'd call me a dyke and a lesbian. It wasn't cool to like girls, but I've just always ... I love women. They're beautiful.
AVN: I've gotta concur.
Steal: I'm not really down for the gay for pay. I personally don't really like to work with girls that aren't into it, because then they just kinda tend to do the bare minimum.
AVN: And it shows.
Steal: In my opinion, yes. Even with guys or girls, if you're not into the person that you're working with, you're not going to have that great of a sex scene. There's got to be some sort of chemistry.
AVN: What do you do to try to get the chemistry flowing? Do you talk to people before the scene starts?
Steal: As far as guys, I have my list of my favorite guys that I like. I know that no matter what we're going to shoot a great scene because we like each other and we have good chemistry and we work well. With girls, I'm not really too picky. Sometimes I like new girls, sometimes I don't. I just have to have girls with big fake boobs. I'm a big fake boob girl.
