Adult Search Engine Marketing has launched an Adult search engine optimization (SEO) blog.
The blog and the site itself are the work of long-time SEO practitioner Tanya, a.k.a. goodgirl, who hopes to use her personal experiences to inform and save Webmasters time.
“I’m hoping to help keep Webmasters from going through the stages I have in the last year. I’m hoping they see the problems and can change their strategies right away instead of losing their positions in SERPs,” she told AVNOnline.com. “I’m also hoping that affiliate programs will realize the need for adjusting their systems to make them hold more rankings in Google, instead of them being filtered out by the duplicate filter.”
With seven years experience in the field, along with running both mainstream and Adult sites, goodgirl has seen many changes in SEO and adapted to them along the way.
“In the last couple of years affiliate systems have been changing how their affiliate links were structured. The new structures of these links were SEO friendly. I didn’t see a problem with it. I understand companies need to have SEO friendly sites – it is what I would do,” she said. “However, the last 18 months have brought many changes with Google and I noticed there were new problems – little things that were not at all good for affiliates. There were also new issues that were working against the best interest of these SEO friendly affiliate programs.”
And so, she’s rolled out the blog to address some of these issues. The first installment dealt with the cause and effect of what goodgirl calls the SEO rebound effect. The latest, which was just released today, deals with experiences with SEO friendly affiliate programs.
In addition to the blog, AdultSEM.com offers affiliate script and linking evaluations, free tutorials, SEO tools, a newsletter and more.
