Adult Store Gets License Despite Complaints

Despite complaints from residents about sex related trash thrown in their yards and supposed suspicious people drawn to their neighborhood, a new adult novelty store was issued its business license.

The store Amazing.net was cited earlier this year for having doors to its viewing booths when city ordinance bars doors that don’t allow store employees from looking inside. That citation came after area residents complained about the store’s alleged negative impact in their community.

Police Chief Ed Strong said the store owner removed the doors from the booths, thus bringing the shop into compliance.

Residents had complained about “suspicious activities” taking place at the shop and also of the number of cars parked in their neighborhood from the shop’s patrons.
