Police detained then released a man who paid for items at an adult book store with a bogus $20 bill.
Police said a clerk at the Gayety Adult Book Store on the 400 block of E. Baltimore St. said last week that he received the fake bill around 1:30 a.m. from a customer, Baltimore Sun reported.
The customer was later detained then released after he told police he had received the bill he bought items at a liquor store using a $50 bill.
The bogus bill was turned over to the U.S. Secret service.
