Some of adult entertainment’s best-known performers surrounded Hustler owner Larry Flynt in the ribbon-cutting cedremony that officially opened the 2004 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo.
“Oh my gosh! I was with the biggest player in the industry: Larry Flynt. I was so excited to be next to him!” exclaimed Gina Lynn, who recently completed her contract with Pleasure Productions and was seen signing autographs at the Hustler booth. “I’ve met him quite a few times in his office and he’s a really great guy, but this is the first time I’ve ever been in public with him; it was really cool. “
Many of the major production companies were represented at the ceremony by contract stars, such as Vivid’s Sunrise Adams and Wicked’s jessica drake, along with some up-and-coming performers such as Lauren Phoenix, one of this year’s Best New Starlet nominees… but the personality that most impressed the cutters themselves was Flynt.
“The ribbon-cutting ceremony went really quickly,” noted Jessica Drake. “There were so many photographers there, I was astonished – and I got to stand right behind Larry Flynt!”
