For the last eighteen years both Ed Kail and Marty Turkel have worked in the sales department of VCA. Now the two veterans and steadfast friends are finally parting, leaving VCA for sales jobs at different companies.
Kail is headed for Devil’s Distribution, where he will spearhead the domestic sales for Elegant Angel when the newly formed distribution company takes over distribution for Elegant Angel by the end of the year as previously written about on AVN.com.
“I’m just not geared for the corporate lifestyle. I’m used to a more family type of operation. That’s what I liked over here and that’s what I’ll be going to,” Kail told AVN.com.
Kail will be joining his daughter Bonnie, who heads up sales for Devil’s Films. “There is nobody I’d rather work with than my dad,” Bonnie said.
Turkel will run the newly opened West Coast office of Virginia based LGI Digital.
“The offer just couldn’t be refused and he’s a very hard working guy, the owner, and he’s very fair. You can’t ask for more from a guy,” said Turkel.
Before joining VCA, Turkel and both Ed and Bonnie Kail worked at Caballero for three years. All three sales vets entered the adult industry within weeks of each other over two decades ago.
