Adult Producer Completes Jail Time, Ready For Action

Ike Sanders, the adult video producer stung by local police when he advertised his services to produce anyone's sexually explicit script for a fee, has completed 45 days of his 60-day sentence, and is now a free man.

"The sentence was originally 60 days," Sanders explained, "but when I first got arrested, I refused to post the $25,000 bond. But after 21 days, I decided to post the bond; I got tired of sitting in there. When we closed the deal [with the local prosecutor], the actual sentence was 60 days, but I had the 21 days already in, so I did 24 more days; basically 45 days on the 60-day sentence."

And Sanders is eager to get back to work.

"I'm working on putting a business plan and everything together," Sanders told AVN.com. "I'm going to do retail distribution as well; work on projects for retail distribution. I'm going to bring my Website [playas_entertainment.com] back a little later; I've already registered the domain name. I'm going to use that Website for production-released videos or productions or whatever you have, and then, I've registered a new domain called producemyownporn.com, which is what my original idea was, and I think that this particular domain name will give people more of an insight into what the site is about; the wording of it helps them get a better idea of what the site is about."

"I also have the case information up there," Sanders continued, "because people had been wondering what had been going on with the case, so they can go check that out. I also have the sting operation conversation on there as well; put that on there so they can see what was said during the sting operation. The police report is on there, and links to the stories done with AVN are on there. I spoke with the arresting officer one time; he said he got over 800 e-mails regarding what happened; basically telling him to leave me alone, so the story reached a lot of people. It was on the news here; I'd done a couple of news interviews here. It was on the radio; it was in the newspapers, and I was receiving e-mails from all over; from Spain, Poland, everywhere. I wasn't expecting it to go as broad as it did, but I was trying to reach as many people as possible to let people know what the government was trying to do, not only to me but to our industry. I was glad that people were able to see exactly what went on, because I feel I won 75 percent of the case, with the felony being dropped and me obtaining all of my production equipment back. I was particularly happy with that, because I spent thousands of dollars on the equipment."

But while Sanders intends to continue to produce other people's scripts, he won't be doing it in Missouri.

"I just don't think I want to be dealing with anything here," he said. "However, I'm five minutes across the bridge [from Illinois], so I think I'll probably try to open up an office there until I'm able to fully relocate to Los Angeles."

In the meantime, Sanders is looking for investors in his projects, some of which will find their way onto the nation's adult video shelves. Those interested in investing, or simply looking for more information on his future projects, can contact Sanders through his site, producemyownporn.com.
