Tonight’s Kylie Live, hosted by Adult star Kylie Ireland, will feature former Adult performer and current make-up artist Kelly Nichols.
The show airs October 28 on KSEXradio.com at 9 p.m. Pacific Time, where listeners can expect to get a snapshot of the industry’s evolution over the past 20-plus years.
“We’re going to talk about times we’ve had together and I want to dig into the past and get some stories. How it was back in the day and how it is now, because [Nichols has] actually seen the entire progression,” Ireland said. “She’s been in the industry in one form or another since 1979, so she will be good source of information on the changes that have happened over the years.”
Nichols shot her first adult film in 1979, That Lucky Stiff, and went on to make more than 50 films and bondage videos, including Sex Boat, Taboo American Style, Roommates, and Brats in Bondage before she retired from performing in 1984.
Upon her retirement, Nichols became a make-up artist in the industry, which is where she met a new-to-the-business Ireland in 1994.
“Kelly and I have been friends since I first came in the business 10 years ago,” Ireland said. “And we’ve shared lots of stories in the make-up chair. We’re looking forward to sharing some of those stories with the people tonight.”
Nichols will soon be getting back in front of the camera when she and Taylor St. Clair launch their new Web site in the next couple months. They have already shot a great deal of content, including a recent shoot with Julie Knight.
