The Adult Industry Podcast Network has arrived upon the scene with a stated purpose of helping webmasters succeed in the adult entertainment business.
Affiliate programs and pay sites take center stage at the network, allowing webmasters to survey the field and look over their commercial options. The podcasts admittedly are entertaining, offering porn-star gossip, interviews with webmasters, and news briefs about the industry.
Bruce Chambers, chief executive officer and producer for AIPN, reflected on why he thought the new podcasting service would be well received by webmasters.
“Podcasting is the biggest thing right now as far as media content development,” Chambers said. “The adult industry is just a natural for it—video and audio. My goal is to give webmasters a place to develop their materials and have access to a wide audience.”
AIPN claims to have attracted almost 2,000 listeners worldwide within two weeks of bowing, and Chambers said the number is growing. The network provides podcast programming in five-minute and 60-second increments.
AIPN critiques webmaster tools and the advantages of particular webmaster programs, payment structures, and adult content.
The best feature of the new network, according to Chambers, is the “constantly syndicated updates. My goal is to have 50 different adult podcasts on it. Right now we have three.”
Shows are released one or more times per week.
AIPN also accepts podcasts produced by others. Adult podcasts can be syndicated and released on the network as soon as the RSS feed is updated.
