Adult Industry 101 at Erotic University

OK, so it isn't called Adult Industry 101, but it is an entry-level class on getting started for those who just might want to ponder careers in adult entertainment, from designing and building adult Websites to becoming a porn star. And it's being offered by Erotic University and taught by adult video star Layla Jade.

In "A Career In Adult Entertainment," scheduled for June 21, Jade will share insight and experience-based knowledge on breaking into adult entertainment, from dealing with agencies and working with photographers to how to get work, feature dancing, life on the set, protecting your image, and especially how to avoid getting ripped off, Erotic University said.

Jade will also deal with legal and health issues anyone in or coming into the industry must know. And the class will be held in an actual adult studio, "so students will get to see what the sets and working conditions are really like," Erotic University said.

Later the same day, EU continued, there will be team-taught pole dancing using the facility's four dance poles and dancing stage.

Come July 12 will be a class on adult Webmastering by veteran designer Geoffrey Williams, who will teach the basics on creating adult Websites with the latest software. He will also cover obtaining free and licensed content, selecting adult Web hosts, promotion, working with search engines, legal issues, and plenty more.

And, on July 26, there will come a class on Fetish and Erotic Photography taught by Jody Anthony Cortes, giving students the chance to photograph actual adult models and get feedback on their techniques from a professional in the industry. Students will also learn how to pose and get the best from a model, the kind of model releases needed, the available markets, and the kinds of material sought, as well as a chance to shoot in exotic settings inside Entertainum Studios.

Future Erotic University classes will include The Erotic Author, Lap and Floor Work, and a master seminar on shooting adult videos, not to mention a projected open house and job fair. For more information or to attend a class, contact [email protected] or call (818) 342-7566
