Adult Digital Media, the content division of Sin City Digital, has announced they will offer a new, free content feed for two months to their affiliate Webmasters who use iBill, in what the company called a show of support for iBill during its bank crisis.
"Having been involved in the adult industry for many years, we have had the pleasure of working with some of the finest companies in the industry," Adult Digital Media said in a statement. "One of those companies is iBill. Our relationship has been one of mutual respect and great service.
"We have all read about iBill’s dispute with First Data and understand the impact it has on iBill and their clients," the company continued. As a show of support for our friends at iBill, Adult Digital Media would like to offer webmasters who are using iBill a free content feed for 2 months."
A September 17 motion by iBill to keep First Data Bank processing its online adult credit card transactions was denied September 22 by the New York State Supreme Court. A First Data spokesman who asked not to be identified said the bank gave iBill "multiple notices" that the contract between them wouldn't be renewed. "iBill sought court intervention to require First Data to provide processing after the expiration of iBill's agreement."
The new Adult Digital Media content feed, a newly-created teen genre feed, updates every day with 2.5GB of high-quality fully downloadable content, normally priced at $250 per site per month, the company said. This, they continued, would save iBill Webmasters hundreds to thousands during iBill's difficult transition to a new bank, as yet not identified formally.
They also said they would do likewise had it been any other payment or transaction company. "[We believe] that as a concerned and responsible member of the Adult Industry we all should lend support to major companies which face problems like these," Adult Digital Media said. "If any other payment gateway or transaction company had these problems, we would be offering them the same support. We as a community must work together to remain strong through any obstacles and challenges we face."
