The porn community continues to pour increasing goodwill efforts into the Hurricane Katrina relief movement, with Mofo Wear, starlet Keiko and Madness Pictures’ Non.sense all organizing fundraising activities for the cause.
Mofo Wear will be sponsoring this Saturday’s Bikini Brawl at Shenanigans Gentleman’s Club in Van Nuys. Beginning at 5 p.m., the event will feature appearances by Mofo Wear girls Alana Evans, Flower Tucci, Olivia O’Lovely and Katrina Kraven, plus fellow XXX stars Missy Monroe, Kat, Nadia Hilton and Annie Cruz. Proceeds will go to the Red Cross’s relief fund.
Keiko, meanwhile has been putting together a charity porn production with Non.sense tentatively titled Spreading Hope. Also planning to donate the profits to the Red Cross, they have secured promises from several performers to participate, including Gen Padova, Nikki Hunter, Genesis Skye, fetish model Alsana Sin (who will be making her hardcore debut in the production) and Miss Eva Lux. On the male side, Rob Longshot and Brandon Iron have also committed.
Joe Laughlin of AMA Video has agreed to provide free studio space for the production, and the performers — who will be outfitted in Mardi Gras masks in honor of New Orleans — will be working for free, though they will receive copies of their scenes for use as content on their Websites.
Props and wardrobe, such as the Mardi Gras masks and Keiko’s shoes from VCA’s Art School Sluts will be auctioned off to raise money for Humane America, the organization aiding the animal victims of the disaster.
