Adam & Eve Reports Sales Increase

Adam & Eve is reporting a 45 percent increase in sales for its Web site, www.adameve.com in the second quarter, compared to figures a year earlier.

“Adameve.com has always been hugely popular,” said Jennifer Alberry, Adam & Eve’s director of Internet marketing.

“We strive to keep up with both technological and consumer demands, and our latest changes – including improved speed and customer ease – are certainly contributing factors to our record sales.”

Alberry credited the increase in sales to a redesigned site made easier for shoppers to navigate and shop for products in various categories. She also cited other factors for the increase such as a redesigned shopping cart and checkout pages, increased access to search engines, increased e-mail marketing and e-mails aimed at increasing product awareness.

The company has also added many new images to its more than 200 top-selling products, giving customers a chance to see them from different angles.

Adam & Eve is also making more special offers for its various product categories such as one which allows shoppers to buy three DVDs and then get the movie Rawhide for 99 cents.

The company is also added more than 100 pages of helpful information on its adult toys and DVDs in its buyers’ guide which is accessible from any page on its Web site.
