CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Legacy adult retailer Adam & Eve received a tongue-in-cheek mention over the weekend during the perennially popular "Weekend Update" segment of NBC's Saturday Night Live.
For the segment's very first joke, "Update" co-anchor Colin Jost (with some riotous assistance from deskmate Michael Che) delivered the zinger:
"This week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio traveled to Italy to meet with Pope Leo in an attempt to repair the U.S. relationship with the Vatican.
"During their meeting, [Rubio] also presented the pope with the gift of an egg-shaped crystal, which he bought on his favorite religious website, AdamandEve.com."
