Mitch Spinelli’s Acid Rain line, a radical, gonzo-styled departure from his usual story-driven features, was earning “a really good reaction” from retailers on the first day of AVN’s Adult Entertainment Expo. Spinelli was getting plenty of traffic at the booth he shares with Futureworks, a DVD duplicator that releases comp tapes, including a Digital Rain line.
Give Me Gape, the first Acid Rain release, streets this month. It will be followed over the next three months by Bang My White Ass, Stack ‘Em Deep, and I Love ‘Em Natural, with Katsumi on the cover. All Acid Rain titles feature anal sex, multiple partners and double-penetrations. “My dad would be turning over in his grave,” Mitch sighed, referring to Anthony Spinelli, the Golden Age porn director who steered clear of anal scenes, let alone d.p.s, in his long and distinguished career.
“Sometimes you gotta completely reinvent yourself,” said Spinelli. He added that the sex in his regular Rain features has gotten “a little harder” as a result of his foray into gonzo.
