AbbyWinters.com Hires Kat Sunlove

G Media, parent company for AbbyWinters.com, has announced it has hired former Free Speech Coalition Legislative Affairs Director Kat Sunlove as a consultant.

Sunlove's primary role will be assisting the company with the market expansion of AbbyWinters in the U.S. Other planned projects will continue to emphasize AbbyWinters' core business of delivering Web-based content while also increasing production and distribution of DVDs and other media.

In addition to assembling a national lobbying program for the FSC, Sunlove—along with her life partner/business associate, Layne Winklebleck—will use experience gained from many years within the adult industry. That includes almost two decades with Spectator magazine, a Bay Area adult-oriented newsmagazine that played a significant role in the evolution of the sexual freedom associated with the city of San Francisco.

"We are excited and honored to be a part of the G Media team," said Sunlove. "The AbbyWinters.com values and philosophy set a high standard, especially in the way they respect and protect their models, as well as in their business practices."

Joanne Mason, G Media DVD producer and manager of G Media's newly opened Sydney, Australia, production office, said, "With the growth of the AbbyWinters brand, increased production in Sydney, and continuing production in Melbourne, AbbyWinters is poised to become one of the pre-eminent companies operating in the adult industry. We're excited about this partnership with Kat and Layne. Their depth of experience in the U.S. adult industry is already proving very helpful. This is a great match."

G Media Chief Executive Officer Garion Hall was equally excited. "I'm delighted to have Kat and Layne on board," Hall said. "After spending the last seven years building the company and product, this is a perfect time to expand our horizons, show people what we can do. Kat Enterprises are uniquely suited to helping us raise our profile, so all I can say is, 'Look out! The Aussies are coming.'"
