Clients and AVN Online staff were treated to an evening of balmy weather and cocktails Friday evening at Hollywood & Highland’s nightclub, The Highlands. The 30,000-square-foot multilevel venue featured panoramic views, plush outdoor lounges, and catering by Wolfgang Puck. Guests enjoyed trays of hors d’oeuvres, two open bars, and many took advantage of the palm and tarot card readers and magicians. The party was held as an appreciation of sorts for clients and advertisers. Guests included everyone from Hustler Video’s Jeff Hawkins, senior vice president of LFP Home Video group, to Lori Z. of The Adult Broker and many more.
Industry folk networked throughout the evening, some making contacts they might not have normally encountered.
“It was very beneficial for me to attend the cocktail party,” said Hawkins. He added he was already in the process of forming new business relationships with the contacts he made from Friday evening.
“The AVN client appreciation party was spectacular,” said Netbilling.com President Mitch Farber. “Quality people, food, and entertainment in a very fun atmosphere really made for a great time. We had a blast and look forward to doing it again.”
After the cocktail party, guests were invited to take advantage of the club’s dance floors, which featured in-house DJs and video screens, or to lounge around the outdoor booths.
“From location to the food, the networking and the partying, everyone had a great time,” said AVN Online publisher, Farley Cahen. “We’re looking forward to doing more events like this and thank you to everyone who attended.”
