‘Freedom of Speech Tour’ to Kick Off

Porn purveyors and their lawyers are not the only ones championing First Amendment rights as veteran rock and roll band Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young prove with the kick off to their “Freedom of Speech ’06 tour” this summer.

The band, which hasn’t toured since 2002, is beginning its tour on July 6 in Philadelphia where the U.S. Constitution was signed. They will perform in Tweeter center, followed by dates in Denver's Red Rocks on July 17 before moving on to Chronicle Pavilion in Concord, Calif. on July 25 and at the Hollywood Bowl on July 31.

The show will feature the band playing its classic hits along with new songs by Neil Young’s latest album, “Living With War,” which criticizes the government’s clamp down on free speech.

Young, along with fellow band members David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash said that in light of the political environment, they felt they needed to go out on the road and express their support for freedom of speech for all Americans.
