Consulting services company 3rd Wave launched its new feature for the adult audiotext industry. Dubbed Click2Call, the feature automatically and seamlessly snaps into 3rd Wave’s MyVPC phone system without any coding needed.
Click2Call allows users to choose the person they want to speak with, enter their own credit card information, phone number, and a specified time to be called (five, 10, or 15 minutes). Once completed, MyVPC places a call to both the PSO and the customer. 3rd Wave’s new product lets its client companies keep the same look and feel of their site through every step of the process. This upgrade also enables clients to lock not only by phone number, but also by credit card—reducing chargebacks and fraud. The feature also automatically logs the PSO as busy in the phone system and the website, so callers know the phone is in use.
“Our testing has shown an increase of 10 to 20 percent per week and reduces the cost and risk of using dispatchers,” says Mike Conwell, president of 3rd Wave.
Since 2004, 3rd Wave’s MyVPC has been implemented in the adult industry.
