Martial arts and Toughman competition champion David Derby has been signed to a four-picture deal with 3 Vision Entertainment.
Derby, a five-time champion in various martial arts and boxing categories, will begin shooting his first movie this weekend with a former ring card girl he met last year, said Allan Smith, 3 Vision's chief executive.
“He’s a celebrity, but he’s also a badass and that’s a great attribute to our company,” Smith said.
“On a dare, he ended up doing a couple of scenes with a couple of his female fans and his buddy taped him and so afterward, he knew he could perform on film.”
Derby is a 1996 jiu jitsu world champion and multiple Toughman champion.
Derby said his interest in a porn career began last year when he was asked to participate in a radio station’s promotion to give away Super Bowl tickets.
“I told the audience that if the radio station’s supermodel that was on stage would pee in a cup, I would drink it and everyone else that would come up here and do it would be a finalist (to receive the tickets),” he recalled.
“Well, I had no takers. I drank her piss to everyone’s amazement and then fucked her after the show. The next day I went out and won my fight.”
Soon thereafter, porn companies began calling.
But Derby said the deal does not mean the end of his fighting career.
“Fighting and fucking is good for me,” he said. “I am really excited to be a part of 3 Vision Entertainment."
The company will also sponsor the fighter, with its logo emblazoned on his trunks and will also promote his activities and appearances.
Derby’s move into porn is not new to the industry. In 2003, UFC veteran Aaron Brink began his porn career under the name of Dick Delaware. He went on to perform in a number of features including Jill Kelly’s Blonde Ambition, Anally Yours and Cum Drippers 4.
Meanwhile, 3 Vision’s next release is Takin’ it Hard, with Gen Padova and Kelly Wells, set for release today, followed by the company’s first all black title, Back in Black with Tiny Star and Fire, set for release on March 30.
