23rd XRCO Awards Set for Tonight

The 23rd Annual X-Rated Critic's Organization (XRCO) Award Show will be held tonight at Forbidden City — a new venue for the event. The nightclub at the corner of Hollywood and Vine will be decked out with a red carpet for industry arrivals beginning at 7 p.m.

The event will be hosted by adult superstar and Teravision head Tera Patrick and her husband, Teravision co-founder and performer Evan Seinfeld.

Patrick said, "It is doubly wonderful to not only be asked to host the XRCO awards, to have my best friend, business partner and husband Evan Seinfeld as my co-host for this star-studded event."

"You know you have arrived when you are asked to host the XRCO Awards," Seinfeld added. "I am very honored to be asked to co-host their famed award show with my lovely wife.  No hype, no hoopla; just the best in the industry being honored for their achievements."

This year's "Heart-On" Girl will be Ninn Worx contract starlet Jana Jordan. The XRCO "Heart-On" or trophy girls have been chosen from among the newest and most promising starlets. Many top names such as Nina Hartley, Kylie Ireland and even this year's co-host Patrick have performed the duty in the past. The term "Heart-On" derives from the XRCO's heart-shaped trophy — for its first six years the show was held on Valentine's Day.

All tables are booked for this event already but industry who have not RSVP'd for the event are invited to do so promptly. Bottle service will be available at the club for those with tables.

Of the Awards Show's new setting, XRCO Awards Show organizer April Storm said, "Forbidden City is a natural fit for our awards show.  The industry's response to this year's show has been terrific attendance-wise and I am sure that all present will have a great time at this important industry tribute."

The X-Rated Critics Organization was founded in 1984 to give writers and editors from the adult entertainment industry a voice in selecting the best in X-rated movies, to enable them to award works of excellence and specifically recognize the unique qualities of sexually explicit films and the individuals who create these distinctive productions.

For last-minute RSVPs, email Storm at [email protected].  XRCO Awards Show attendance is strictly limited to industry talent, XRCO members and select members of the press. Forbidden City is located at 1718 N. Vine Street.
