LOS ANGELES—The DomCon convention rollicked the Hilton LAX with a stellar lineup of presenters and vendors this past weekend. Featuring many new faces as well as established professional dominatrixes, dommes, and everyone of every persuasion, this show did not disappoint. Attracting both vendors, presenters, and attendees from around the country, DomCon, presided over by longtime host Mistress Cyan of Sanctuary Studios, proved yet again that it was the place to be for kinky folks to have fun, network, and most of all, live their fantasies among a supportive community.
Featuring many new vendors in the expanded vendor area, one could purchase from a wide array of floggers, paddles, restraints, and bondage equipment from the actual makers themselves. The several play parties held at the hotel during the show allowed attendees to put their newly purchased wares into action right away.
“This has been one of the best DomCon shows I’ve sold at,” shared Danny, of New England’s Leather By Danny. “I almost sold out of my popular Split Thumpers because once people see it in action, they want to get one themselves.”
Portland, Oregon’s Between Two Worlds brought their A game with whimsical jewelry featuring little, one-inch sized bodies wrapped in perfectly executed Shibari bondage, tiny glow-in-the-dark butt plug rings and pins, and uniquely created pieces that are coated with a popular “Mood Ring” finish that changes color with body heat. Creator Gabbi shared, “This is our first DomCon and it’s been so much fun! I’ve worked in an adult store for years and it’s been so nice to be welcomed into the community here.” She continued, “Our string lights of mini butt plugs has been really popular, along with the keychains and all the other things we have. I’ll definitely be back next year!”
Los Angeles-based Irreverent Scents brought a new twist to the scene by introducing their sensual scents to invoke feelings and sensations within or outside of the scene. Ashley, aka Irreverent Femme, who is the founder and maker of these delightful scents, shared, “I have been drawn to fragrance as a comfort with a fascination for how it makes me feel, what it inspires in me and how I interact with others with its influence.” Offering a dozen unique scents available in several sizes, many attendees commented on how the memory of scents trigger emotions often freed during BDSM play.
Displaying her designs at DomCon for almost 15 years, Renee Masoomian’s latex fashions have broad appeal in the BDSM and fashion scene. “I brought our new latex material featuring snakeskin print, purple metallic, and leopard print. They’ve been selling really well,” mentioned Renee. “It was worth our trip from New York City to be here.”
Vending at DomCon for the third time, Bitches Love Leather showed off their line of leather gags made of their hand-poured silicone balls, body harnesses, cuffs, collars, and custom designed posture collars.
Los Angeles-based Lumbersnackster Designs stood out among the many flogger vendors with their distinctive and individually crafted handles that make for easy transfer of energy during the “throw” of wrist controlled flogging. The leathers offered had many different weights and textures, making them easy to handle for people with carpal tunnel or other conditions. The ball handles proved easy to grasp and use when they were demonstrated throughout the show.
Presenting for the first year and becoming an instant hit at DomCon, was the newcomer KinkBags by Luxxgear, well designed roll-up storage and carrying bags featuring an anti-microbial lining. The company’s founder and designer, Matt, shared that he went through twelve prototypes to come up with the practical aspects of this unique bag, made by one of the best bag manufacturers in the world. Available in two sizes with a choice of eight different-colored fabric liners, no one at DomCon walked by without checking them out.
Other vendors included Motley Monröe, a successful lingerie model who has become an affiliate with the new RealDoll affiliate program; Toronto’s Research & Desire paired up with KinkyMakers to share with developers and designers their ideas to make one-of-a-kind products; Florida’s Irish Scott, who attended with his father, displaying his assortment of handmade floggers and leather accessories including dinosaur handbags his wife-hand crafts; LA’s cheeky “Tickling for Fitness” program which goes well beyond their name to educate newbies into the BDSM arts, Los Angeles' elegant BDSM playspace Legacy Studios; Beyond Piercing, selling everything for the professional piercer, and many others.
One of the differences between DomCon and the many other events around the country is the high quality of non-stop classes and socializing events throughout the weekend. Separated into two programs, one for professional dominants and the other for interested parties—no matter their skill level—DomCon consistently raises the bar for kinky experiences that are never equaled anywhere. Make sure to attend in 2026!
