Although the box cover of Mr. Marcus is King Dong, the newest interracial release of Nectar Entertainment’s 1st Strike line, is sure to garner a chuckle or two, the content of the movie itself conveys raw sexuality, not comedy.
The box cover features a bare-chested Mr. Marcus with a scantily clad blonde beauty hoisted over his shoulder and another at his side, set against a New York skyline. A font reminiscent of old horror movies was used for the title.
Director Richard De Montfort says the spoof of the recent mainstream remake with a similar name ends with the box. “The movie is hot blonde porn stars engaged in a number of sordid sexual activities, including plenty of anal, with well-endowed black men, none of whom required any special effects to seem like giants; they are giants.”
Sean Logan, CEO of Nectar Entertainment, the corporate parent of the 1st Strike brand, explained the origin of the box cover concept, “Mr. Marcus turned in an incredible scene with Kinzy Jo and Michelle Sweet that had some really primal moments and someone threw the ‘primal’ phrase out during our brainstorm session and that cued the King Dong title.
“Once we saw a mock up of the box cover, the concept was just too good to pass up. The box received such a warm welcome at the Adult Entertainment Expo that we’ve already started working on a sequel, The Return of Dong.”
Jasmine Tame, Liv Wylder, Holly Wellin, and Annika round out the female cast for Mr. Marcus is King Dong, which streets February 8.
