Internext Summer, the pre-eminent business-to-business trade show for the digital adult entertainment industry, will take place Aug. 3-5 (Friday through Sunday) at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Fla.
The show's theme this year is "One Industry. One Goal. One Event." Internext aspires to gather content producers and distributors, webmasters, mobile companies, technology manufacturers, sales and marketing professionals, and others involved in the production and distribution of adult entertainment in one place for three days of intensive networking, education, and deal-making.
"We see many things currently impacting the adult entertainment industry," said Darren Roberts, chief executive officer of the AVN Media Network, the entity that organizes the event. "This industry is now focused on creative content production, maximizing the distribution of such content, and the technology that powers that distribution. Internext does an excellent job of bringing all of these elements together."
Internext Summer will incorporate three targeted, educational tracks focusing on content production and distribution, sales and marketing, and technology. In addition, a special-events program will present case studies from the virtual novelty retailing realm, speed-networking sessions, a gay community roundtable, and website-design critique clinics. A welcome address and cocktail reception will open the event on the Thursday evening preceding the show, and a live adult domain-name auction will occupy the late-afternoon hours of the show's second day.
Online registration is available via the show's official website, Internext-Expo.com. An all-access pass is priced at $250 during the early registration period; it will rise to $300 on June 14.
Only registered attendees will be allowed on the resort's premises.
