FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla.—Segpay, a pioneer in digital payment processing, on Thursday announced that it has launched its new gateway payment platform. The Segpay Gateway can handle high volumes of merchant transactions in multiple currencies, keeping all data safe with the latest data security standards.
Segpay’s Gateway serves as a secure bridge to banks and processors during the merchant's checkout process. All payments are encrypted and verified, keeping online merchant transactions running smoothly. Additionally, the gateway has many security benefits including real-time fraud and unauthorized transaction monitoring, fraud prevention tools such as 3D secure, ThreatMetrix, Kount, and secure infrastructure with the latest security standards to protect against cyber-attacks such as DDoS and Bot attacks. All payment data is encrypted via HTTPS and adheres to PCI-DSS standards. Segpay is also integrated with chargeback prevention technology including CRDN and RDR.
“The Segpay Gateway is designed to offer the latest solutions for merchants including tools to help manage those dreaded chargebacks as well as a secure payment page for merchants who do not want to handle PCI compliance on their own,” said Cathy Beardsley, CEO of Segpay. “There are also solutions to help with cascading to different banks, a card updater service to keep rebilling memberships active, and the ability to test the gateway in a sandbox environment before you launch.”
The Segpay Gateway is enhanced with load balancing on multiple servers. Capabilities include round-robin scheduling and least-connect scheduling, IP hashing, and geographic load balancing. This solution is currently available to any merchant in the Segpay network located in the U.S. EU, or UK. The Segpay Gateway is featured in the latest installment of Segpay’s animated video education series. You can watch it here.
