FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla.—Digital payment processing company Segpay welcomes Tom John as its new chief technology officer.
John will lead Segpay’s technology team and will oversee the continued development of Segpay’s payment platform as part of the company’s long-term growth plan.
“Technology has always been the foundation of Segpay’s success,” Segpay CEO Cathy Beardsley said. “Tom brings extensive leadership experience and a proven track record of building and growing organizations. We are excited to welcome him to the team as we continue to enhance the Segpay platform for our merchants.”
John has more than 25 years of experience leading technology organizations in the financial and consulting industries. Most recently, he co-founded AI data analytics company InsitesData, where he served as chief information officer and chief technology officer. Throughout his career, John has led a variety of tech companies from software development to cloud transformation. He has also created technology strategies for several organizations.

John earned his bachelor’s and master’s engineering degrees from the University of Florida and will work at Segpay’s South Florida headquarters.
