BOCA RATON, Fla.—Payment processing firm Segpay has selected Boca Raton, Florida, for its new global headquarters.
Segpay’s new 13,200-square-foot office is located in the Research Park at Florida Atlantic University. The move comes more than 20 years after Segpay got its start in South Florida and as the company continues to grow both in the U.S. and internationally.
“South Florida is where Segpay started, and it was important to us to stay here,” Segpay CEO Cathy Beardsley said. “But we’re a very different company than we were 20 years ago. We have more people, more products and a much bigger global footprint. We needed a space that worked for the company we are today and where we’re headed next.”
The new office is 20 percent larger than its previous location in Deerfield Beach, Florida, giving Segpay more space for expansion. Its location in the Research Park at Florida Atlantic University also puts the company in the middle of one of Boca Raton’s growing business and technology communities, according to a Segpay rep.
While Boca Raton is its home base, Segpay has offices in Dublin, Ireland, and London, England, and serves merchants around the world. Segpay also has plans to expand its global footprint further in 2026.
Details will be announced in the coming weeks, the Segpay rep said.
“A lot is happening at Segpay right now,” Beardsley added. “Our new headquarters is an important part of where we’re headed. We’ve had a busy year, and there’s still more ahead for Segpay in 2026.”
Founded in 2005, Segpay has spent more than two decades providing services for high-risk merchants, allowing them to accept payments online. Today, the company provides payment solutions for merchants, including improved conversions, gateway services, Pay by Bank (InstaCredit) and a global network of banks that accept payments around the world.
