CARDIFF, WALES/SAN FRANCISCO—Image Angel, a forensic safety technology company, has partnered with PinkLabel.tv, an on-demand platform for independent queer sexual cinema.
“PinkLabel.tv has integrated Image Angel’s forensic watermarking infrastructure across its streaming ecosystem to deter non-consensual imagery distribution and safeguard independent digital rights,” an Image Angel rep said.
PinkLabel.tv is managed by parent company Pink and White Productions, creator of CrashPadSeries.com and founder of the Blush San Francisco PornFilmFestival.
By embedding Image Angel’s invisible, tracker-linked forensics into its streaming distribution, PinkLabel.tv is “establishing a new standard of digital safety and asset protection within the independent film sector,” the rep added. “Independent studios have tight profit margins and are especially financially impacted by content theft. The integration of Image Angel directly addresses this vulnerability, ensuring that the revenue generated by indie queer cinema stays with the communities that create it.”
