PARIS—Jacquie et Michel, a staple of the French pornography industry, transitioned ownership to a U.S.-based holdings company called JetM Technology Solutions, per AVN's reporting in December 2024.
JetM Technology Solutions is characterized as "an international fund specializing in the entertainment industry." A company representative at the time of the ownership tranfer noted, "The fund presents an exceptional opportunity for the brand's global expansion." But there was no clear indication as to who owns the JetM firm.
Now, there is. French-language newspaper Le Monde reported Wednesday that JetM Technology Solutions is owned by Stéphane Pacaud through a complex arrangement of shell corporations based in the United States, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Pacaud is the owner of WebGroup Czech Republic, the parent firm of powerhouse adult tube sites XVideos, XNXX, and a network of studios and imprints including Private and Bang Bros. As AVN reported, the company's operations for JetM will be managed by teams in the United States, Canada, Cyprus and Hungary.
Before the takeover, Jacquie et Michel was a family business of sorts. Michel Piron was the founder and owner of the website, and was targeted by years of legal scrutiny. In 2022, Piron passed over leadership to his son, Thibault Piron. During the summer of that same year, Michel Piron was indicted for human trafficking and complicity in rape.
He was indicted “following false accusations brought forward by prohibitionist associations,” the representative detailed via AVN's reporting on the transition of ownership.
Piron's case led to an investigation by French police forces. For over four years, Michel Piron “endured extensive interrogations, high-profile custody, searches and wiretaps,“ the representative added. Piron's indictment was vacated when the French judiciary withdrew prosecution, adds an April report from Le Monde.
