New Live Social Shopping App Teasr Set to Launch

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla.—Teasr, a new live-selling and social-shopping marketplace app created specifically for the sexual-wellness industry, will officially launch August 3. Teasr is designed to give sexual-wellness brands, artisans, retailers, educators and content creators access to interactive e-commerce tools that have driven growth across fashion, beauty, collectibles and other mainstream consumer categories.

Through Teasr, sellers will be able to host live shopping shows, demonstrate products, answer customer questions in real time and offer live-only pricing, flash sales, auctions and giveaways. Brands and creators will also be able to publish pre-recorded shoppable videos and operate dedicated storefronts where consumers can discover and purchase products directly through the platform.

“Live shopping has changed how consumers discover products, learn from creators and make purchasing decisions, but sexual-wellness businesses have largely been excluded from that evolution,” Teasr founder and CEO Avi Goldstein said. “We created Teasr to give this industry a dedicated platform where education, entertainment, community and commerce can finally come together.”

Goldstein said Teasr is intended to make shopping for sexual-wellness products more informative, personal and approachable.

“Many sexual-wellness products require more explanation than a traditional product page can provide,” Goldstein said. “Consumers want to understand how a product works, who it is designed for and whether it fits their personal needs. Live demonstrations and real-time conversations create a more comfortable and confident shopping experience.”

Teasr's planned features include:

• Interactive live shopping shows
• Real-time product demonstrations and customer questions
• Live auctions, flash sales, exclusive pricing and giveaways
• Shoppable short-form videos
• Brand, retailer and creator storefronts
• Discreet shipping and buyer-protection features

The platform will also create new opportunities for sex educators and content creators who may not manufacture products. Participants will be able to host educational programming, curate product selections and connect their audiences with relevant sexual-wellness brands.

“Education is becoming increasingly important to sexual-wellness consumers, especially in categories where shoppers may feel underserved or uncertain about which products meet their needs,” Goldstein said. “Teasr gives educators and creators a meaningful role in helping consumers discover products while also creating new ways for them to monetize their expertise and audiences.”
