HotJobsAlert.com: New Name, New Face, New Tools

SACRAMENTO, Calif./TORONTO—XIndustryJobs founder and CEO Eddie Kreider is back in business, relaunching his company under a new name: HotJobsAlert.com.

On hiatus for about a year while he headed up business development for Allan Henning and his team at DatingGold, Kreider expressed his pleasure at being back in the recruitment biz.

“I think sometimes you need to step back and evaluate things, and what I learned is that sometimes a change is not in order. I missed running the recruitment business I built up over eight years,” Kreider explained.

The industry veteran is also excited about the changes he has planned for HotJobsAlert.com, and how it will make recruitment and job search more user-friendly.

One of the biggest changes is a new business partner. Rob Jonathan will be coming on board as president and will assist Kreider with the day-to-day running of HotJobsAlert. Jonathan has worked in mainstream advertising since 1996, and he also has served as CIO at Juicy Ads and the manager of advertising at WebKrew/CAM4. “I am really excited to work, and collaborate with Rob,” Kreider said. “He brings a lot of fresh new ideas.”

HotJobsAlert also plans to enter into some new verticals and add some much-needed tools to assist both companies and candidates through the hiring process.

In addition to continuing to work in the adult vertical and dating, HotsJobsAlert will also start placing for online media companies (advertising and affiliate networks), as well as mobile. The focus will be working with start-ups to midsize companies in a recruitment capacity.

With the newly launched website, users will see a lot more tools for hiring managers and candidates as well. “Some of these new interactive tools on the site will enable the user to manage their whole process, be it hiring or finding a new position. I am super stoked about the site. Rob has spent a lot of time fine tuning it and making it user-friendly,” Kreider said.

Some of the new tools include the ability to pretest candidates before interviewing and view video clips of selected candidates. Job searchers will be able to store their résumé in a secured area, submit their résumé for jobs, see what stage their résumé is at in an employer’s hiring process, and review a history of jobs they have applied for. They may also sign up to get an email alert when new jobs are posted.

The HotJobsAlert.com team will continue to have a presence at conferences worldwide. “I think it’s important, if you’re going to work with companies all over the globe, to have some face time with them as well,” Kreider said.
