BUDAPEST—Adult content platform Benefit Monkey announces that the company is heading into a "new chapter," with founding partner Alex becoming the sole "face and heart" of the company and for the first time unveiling his face from behind the trademark monkey mask he's worn up to now.
A statement issued by the company indicated that its unnamed, original co-creators had departed. The statement follows:
“When Benefit Monkey was born, it wasn’t just one person’s idea. It began as a collective experiment—a bold, creative playground built by a small group of people who wanted to challenge how the world sees intimacy, freedom and fun.
“But as the years went by, the project evolved—shaped by cultural taboos, personal choices and the reality of how society still reacts to the adult industry. Some of the original creators chose to step away, facing pressure from friends, families or environments where adult content remains misunderstood.
“Yet one person never stopped. One person kept creating, building and believing: Alex.
“For over a year now, his face has already been part of the story—appearing in scenes, leading creative projects, and shaping Benefit Monkey into something much larger than production. Now, it’s official: the mask retires, and Alex becomes the face and heart of Benefit Monkey.
“This isn’t the end of an era—it’s the beginning of a new one," the statement continued. “After a series of personal events, including loss and deep transformation, Alex decided to rebuild from the ground up: turning Benefit Monkey into a personal, independent creator brand rooted in honesty, artistry and resilience.
“The 'monkey mask’—once a symbol of mystery and rebellion—will remain as a nostalgic icon, making rare appearances as a tribute to the past. But from now on, Benefit Monkey moves forward unmasked, authentic and human.”
“Benefit Monkey was always about freedom—freedom of expression, of sexuality, of identity. But to move forward, I had to become part of it fully. No filters. No masks. Just me,” Alex added.
