SANTA ANA, Calif.—Westridge Laboratories, the company behind ID Lubricants, has acquired Mayer Laboratories, the Berkeley-based manufacturer of Kimono brand condoms and Blossom Organics personal lubricant.
The strategic union brings together over 70 years of combined industry leadership, according to a Westridge Labs representative. “By integrating Mayer Labs’ premium brand equity and highly rated products with Westridge’s world-class manufacturing and domestic distribution infrastructure, Westridge Laboratories solidifies its position as the premier full-service partner for distributors, retailers and health organizations,” the rep said.
The acquisition includes the Kimono MicroThin line in the ultra-thin latex condom category, as well as the Kimono MAXX, Aqua Lube and Blossom Organics natural lubricants portfolio.
