We-Vibe Introduces Dual-Sided Couples Toy ‘Shared Touch’

OTTAWA—We-Vibe introduces Shared Touch, a new dual-sided vibrator designed to stimulate both partners at the same time and “bring more play, creativity and connection to foreplay,” a rep said.
Launching today, September 22**,** Shared Touch combines a ridged stroker for the penis with a curved vibrating tip for clitoral stimulation, “allowing couples to create shared sensation through grinding and close body-to-body movement.”
“Rather than asking couples to reinvent what already works, Shared Touch is designed to add to familiar routines by giving partners more ways to slow down, stay close and explore together,” the rep added.
According to a new We-Vibe survey, there is a trend for more foreplay:
• 40 percent said foreplay typically lasts less than nine minutes, while almost one in two (46 percent) wished it lasted longer.
• When foreplay lasted longer than usual, 77 percent reported greater anticipation and excitement, 67 percent felt a stronger sensual connection, and 60 percent said the overall sexual experience became more intense.
• Among those able to assess its impact on orgasm, 86.5 percent of women and 77.2 percent of men said longer foreplay improved it to some degree; 91 percent also agreed it made them feel more connected to their partner.
“These findings suggest that better sex does not always require a completely new routine; sometimes it starts with spending more time enjoying what already works,” the We-Vibe rep said. “Shared Touch is reframing foreplay not simply as a prelude, but as a shared experience in its own right: One that can be more creative, more connected and more satisfying.”
Ten intensity levels and eight vibration patterns allow couples to adjust the experience together, while connectivity to the We-Vibe app adds remote control, custom vibrations and music- and ambient-responsive modes.
