CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Leading adult novelty manufacturer Topco Sales, in conjunction with C. Batts Fly and Antebellum Gallery, is sponsoring the fifth installment in a series of art exhibits dedicated to its Wildfire Celebrity Series April Flores Voluptuous CyberSkin Pussy.
The exhibit is set for Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 7-10 p.m. at the Antebellum Gallery located at 1643 N. Las Palmas Ave., Hollywood, CA 90028. Music will be provided by DJ JUNG Hollywood.
"The concept behind the April Flores Love Toy Art Exhibition is simple," said Desiree Duffie, director of marketing and public relations at Topco Sales. "Artists utilize plaster molds of April Flores' vagina as a canvas for creating original works of art. Each of the participants brings with them a unique perspective and the results are amazing."
After its Los Angeles launch at the La Luz De Jesus Gallery, the exhibit headlined a Glamazons DVD Release Party at the Good Vibrations 2009 IXFF Independent Erotic Film Competition in San Francisco. Next, it traveled to New York under the sponsorship of Eden Fantasys to appear in The Museum of Sex and then moved on to The Painted Bride in Philadelphia.
"Fans of art, sex and toys will find this show inspiring," said Carlos Batts, owner of C. Batts fly and curator of the series of exhibits. "In addition to the extensive list of artists already involved, we were able to include works from five new artists for this event."
Artists scheduled to participate in the Antebellum Gallery April Flores exhibit are veteran exhibitors Axis, Carlos Batts, COOP, Jim Mahfood, Kime Buzzelli, Kozy & Dan, and Small Paul, who all took part in the first April Flores Love Toy Art show last May. Since then many other artists have joined the exhibit, including Brian Donnelly, Molly Crabapple, Zak Smith, Dr. Carol Queen, Ph.D., and Dr. Robert M. Lawrence.
