CHULA VISTA, Calif.—As prices for raw material, labor and transportation have risen sharply in the last year and a half, Tantus Inc. has been forced to increase their prices.
Company officials said they have absorbed increasing costs as long as possible, but now must offset the substantial increase in manufacturing costs with a nominal price increase of 5 percent. However, Feeldoes and Harness kits will not increase in price. The 5 percent increase will take effect on Dec. 1, 2009.
Again, Feeldoes will not be affected by this increase, and all Tantus Harness Kits were increased by 5 percent the last week of October.
Affiliates are asked to take time to review the new price list and adjust their system accordingly.
In an effort to minimize the impact on business, orders received before Dec. 1, 2009, will be filled at current prices.
