AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands—Satisfyer on Tuesday announced it has joined forces with Dutch authorities to strike a major blow against counterfeiters. The operation, conducted in collaboration with law enforcement, resulted in the dismantling of an illegal operation selling fake Satisfyer products—including the Pro 2 and Penguin models—through major online marketplaces like Bol.com.
The raid led to the arrest of a suspect with alleged ties to organized crime. This swift action follows an urgent court ruling and is part of Satisfyer’s global anti-counterfeiting strategy aimed at safeguarding its brand and protecting consumers.
Authorities uncovered a substantial number of counterfeit products during the operation, the company said. The suspect is reportedly linked to several criminal enterprises, including connections to the notorious MocroMafia and bombings last year, highlighting the broader risks associated with counterfeit goods, according to Satisfyer.
Satisfyer said this operation underscores its commitment to its customers and its dedication to maintaining its reputation as a global leader in sexual wellness. Counterfeit products not only undermine the brand’s integrity but also pose serious risks to consumer safety due to unregulated manufacturing standards.
“Satisfyer is relentless in its pursuit of counterfeiters,” said Sven Pelka, managing director of Triple A/EIS/Satisfyer. “The integrity of our brand and the safety of our customers are non-negotiable. We take these matters very seriously and will continue to collaborate with law enforcement globally to ensure our products remain trustworthy and safe.”
Satisfyer indicated it is committed to supporting authorities across the world with key information and resources to protect consumer safety and ensure fair competition.
The company also urges consumers to purchase only from authorized retailers to ensure product authenticity and safety. The brand also calls on partners, marketplaces, and retailers to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to help combat counterfeiting at all levels.
