SINGAPORE—Pleasure products manufacturer Lovense today releases Fizz, a dual-head clitoral stimulator that combines air-pulse suction with rhythmic tapping in a single device.
Fizz offers two fundamentally different stimulation modes, “addressing emerging neuroscience research showing that the clitoris is served by a distributed nerve network far more extensive than previously understood,” a Lovense rep said.
“In March 2026, neuroscientist Ju Young Lee and a team at Amsterdam University Medical Center produced the first-ever complete 3D map of the nerve network within the human clitoris, using synchrotron radiation X-rays,” the rep continued, addressing the company’s design concept for Fizz. “The study, published on bioRxiv, identified the clitoris's primary sensory pathways do not end at the visible glans; branches extend into surrounding structures including the hood, mons pubis and labial area.
“This is the first ever 3D map of the nerves within the glans of the clitoris. The equivalent mapping of the penis was completed in 1998—28 years earlier,” the rep added. ”A key finding: the dorsal nerve, the primary sensory highway of the clitoris, does not diminish in strength as it reaches the tip. It continues at full capacity and branches across multiple tissue zones. The research points to a broader design question—if clitoral sensation involves more than one visible point, pleasure products can also explore more than one mode of stimulation.”
