BURBANK, Calif.—AVN Hall of Famer Kim Airs, contributing editor for pleasure products at AVN, will be presenting a workshop titled “Physical Intimacy With a Disability” at this weekend’s 14th annual Rollettes Experience at the Burbank Marriott Hotel.
The Rollettes Experience is an empowerment event for women and girls with disabilities.
“I’m so excited to be presenting currently available sexual health and wellness products to this often overlooked community,” Kim shared. “I learn so much from them during our time together.”
The workshop, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 24 for attendees 21 and over, will focus on adaptable products for a variety of disabilities with the focus on pleasure. Areas to be covered are the importance of using personal lubricants and their varieties, how different vibrations can affect nerve responses, adaptable positioning products, and many other pertinent topics.
The Rollettes Experience was created to establish a welcoming atmosphere for women and girls to connect, learn, create and dance in a supportive and encouraging environment. Hundreds of attendees converge from dozens of countries to interact with like-bodied people.
Kim added, “I am so looking forward to not only teach but also to learn what we can do and add to as an industry in order to become more inclusive and supportive for those with physical disabilities. I can’t wait to be with this amazing group of women and would like to thank Sportsheets and Wicked Sensual Care for their support of my presentation.”
