BERKELEY, Calif. - Seal Press has released Rachel Kramer Bussel's book Dirty Girls: Erotica for Women, in which 27 contributing writers invite readers into their fantasies and fetishes.
Bussel, an erotic writer, editor and journalist who has been published in more than 100 anthologies, covers various suggestive scenarios with her editorial guidance.
"There's something very intimate about hearing authors read erotica aloud that we don't get often enough, and I think audiences really appreciate that," Bussel told ANB.
Bussel said the book touches on sex acts that rarely are considered, including "writing your name on a man's penis or letting a stranger fondle you on an airplane or doing a BDSM scene using food."
"I think there's something for everyone in Dirty Girls-men included-and hope the stories tap into some universal fantasies, as well as emotional nuances of sex," Bussel said.
The lineup of contributors for Dirty Girls also includes Alison Tyler, Carol Queen, Kate Dominic, Gwen Masters and Marilyn Jaye Lewis.
