Honey Play Box Secures E.U., U.S. Patents for Tapping Technology

CHINO, Calif.—Since 2024, Honey Play Box has held a U.S. patent for its tapping technology, and as of 2025, the company has secured the European patent as well.

Honey Play Box first introduced tapping technology in 2021 with the launch of "Bora," the brand’s debut toy designed to replicate the rhythmic touching patterns in clitoral stimulation. Since then, the brand has expanded its tapping technology line with products like "Harmony Duo," "Trilux," "Terri" and "Tempo."

Each device is tailored for different users. For example, "Harmony Duo" is a strapless strap-on built for partnered play, while "Tempo" incorporates pressure-sensing.

“We’ve always believed in protecting our innovation and keeping pleasure products accessible for all,” Honey Play Box spokesperson Vincent Renou said.

“But we’re also all about collaboration. If you’re a brand that shares our passion for pushing boundaries through innovation and creating truly great quality products, we’d love to connect.”

Renou noted that the patented tapping technology is "available for licensing," and the company is actively exploring new partnerships.
