WATFORD, U.K.—British manufacturer E-Stim Systems has launched The Slider, “the world's first adjustable neck bipolar e-stim electrode, featuring a sliding lockable neck,” an E-Stim rep described.
The Slider made its European trade debut at adult industry expo EroSpain, held May 17-19 in Barcelona. U.K. consumer retail for The Slider goes live today, May 22. U.S. trade enquiries are also welcomed, according to the rep.
Unlike fixed length e-stim devices, the “neck” of The Slider adjusts to whatever length suits the user, and a hex key then locks it in place. This allows users to stimulate various pleasure points at different angles with The Slider’s electrodes. The unit also comes apart for cleaning and goes back together quickly and easily.
The range launches in two sizes for the U.K. and European market. The Slider Small is priced at £89 (including VAT), and The Slider Large at £95 (including VAT).
Both ship with the standard 55 mm-length neck. Large (75 mm) and Small (35 mm) neck variants are also available.
Like every E-Stim Systems insertable, The Slider is CNC-machined in the company's Watford workshops and carries the standard E-Stim Systems lifetime guarantee.
"We found fixed-length electrodes were always a compromise," said Wayne, founder of E-Stim Systems. "Anatomy varies. Preferences vary. The Slider stops that being a problem."
"The Slider was developed in-house and tested across the design cycle by Wayne, co-founder Caz, and the company's customer-based test team. The locking mechanism, the disassembly, the neck range—all worked out through hands-on use, not spec sheets,” the rep added.
"We considered filing a patent on the design," Wayne noted. "But we'd rather spend that time and money working on the next idea than filling in forms about this one."
The Slider prototypes were also shown earlier this year at Altitude Intimates Show in Las Vegas, “where they drew strong interest from U.S. trade visitors,” the rep said.
Prices quoted are U.K. retail in GBP, inclusive of VAT. For wholesale pricing, contact E-Stim Systems at [email protected].
