AVN to Sponsor Seminars at ANME

LOS ANGELES—AVN is proud to announce the sponsorship of two exclusive seminars to be held at the upcoming ANME show in Burbank, California, July 12-15. ANME is a trade only show for the adult novelty industry that is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Moderated by AVN Hall of Famer and Contributing Editor of Pleasure Products for AVN, Kim Airs, the two seminars will be focused on topics such as how to increase customer traffic through product knowledge, incorporating AI for smooth business operations, and Age Verification and banking discrimination and how they affect both brick and mortar and online stores.

Monday’s seminar, “Increase Your Retail Knowledge for Brick and Mortar Stores,” kicks off at 8 a.m. on July 13, before the show opens, and features Zondre Watson from Erotech speaking about his development of an AI program specifically designed for retail stores. The second half of the seminar includes Javay Frye-Nekrasova, aka The Millennial Sexpert, an entertaining and well qualified sex educator who will be joined by Kim Airs to discuss the three main areas of knowledge every brick and mortar retailer should know: G Spot, Anal, and BDSM.

Tuesday’s seminar, held before the show, is the "AV and the Novelty Industry Legal Panel," addressing Age Verification and its impact on online retailers, as well as how banking restrictions may impact credit card processing. The two topics are constantly changing and are a continued threat in our industry.

Panelists include Jeffrey Douglas who has represented the adult industry for over 40 years and has chaired the Free Speech Coalition Board of Directors for 30 years; Meghan Lyon, the Free Speech Coalition's Membership Director, who expands the reach of FSC and the Sexual Wellness Professional Alliance (SWPA) through education, outreach, and community engagement; and Lucy Luna Trim, a Senior Account Executive at GOAT Payments. She will share the banking access challenges unique to this industry, including credit card processing.

Dick and Jane’s Naughty Spots’ David Eliason will be joining both seminars, bringing his decades of retail experience and free speech advocacy to share his insights on many of the topics to be covered.
