BURBANK—The ANME Founders Show closed its second annual run Tuesday, but not before some displays created a bit of a buzz.
Throughout the three-day run, people could be heard in booths and the hallways asking one another, “Did you see it yet?”
The “it” in question, more often than not, was the new It’s Not Fetish, It’s Fucked line from Topco Sales. The products delve into the realm of taboo, and are geared toward extreme fetishes. Topco played up the taboo by presenting the line’s items in the back of its circus-style booth, reminiscent of old-school freak shows.
Behind the curtain, attendees could view products such as the vaginal stroker with a tampon inserted and blood-like lubricant, an amputee blow-up doll, and a penis dildo with scars and stitches.
The items in the It’s Not Fetish, It’s Fucked line were among more than 90 items that Topco Sales debuted at the show.
Also creating a stir was the new novelty line from New Sensations, an adult company known these days for its parody films and Romance line of DVDs.
Details about the line were hush-hush until the show, when New Sensations Scott Taylor unveiled the female-friendly line. The Bzzz Buddies personal massagers come in two mini lines, with four massagers in each one. The “land” line features Pandy, Frisky, Shivers and Paws, while Pokey, Ribbit, Inkee and Bubbles are in the “sea” line.
“I have always loved anime, and when we started creating this line more than a year and a half ago, I wanted to incorporate that into the items somehow,” Taylor said.
The animals with big black-and-white anime-style eyes have large heads and smaller bodies and sit atop the massagers, which come with four interchangeable heads.
Taylor noted a ninth version will soon be available. That item, he said, is the Puppy Cake, which is designed for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries.
Hustler also caught the attention of many attendees with the addition of several items to its new Hustler Toys line. Included in the items that were revealed at the show were the glow-in-the-dark version of the popular Gossip Ring, Bliss Balls for Kegel exercises, the Nonconformist Rabbit vibrator, the Scandalous Skull Vibrator and the Hustler Heartbreaker vibe, which features the signature Hustler heart logo molded into the piece.
Most of the products and lines launched at the show will be available for shipping by the end of the year.
