LONDON—Performer Adreena Winters has launched her latest creation, Substandard Club, a streetwear brand tailored for submissive men.
The brand’s debut, “Drop 00—For Those Who Obey,” was a strictly limited release that sold out quickly. The first drop is no longer available, having closed after the brief release.
A new drop is planned for October, and a mailing list is now live at SubstandardClub.com for early access and updates.
Designed to blend minimalist streetwear aesthetics with the nuanced symbolism of sexual submission, “the tee walks a fine line between fashion and fetish—subtle enough to pass as high-end, but unmistakable to those who know,” promotional materials read.
“Submissive men are everywhere, but their fashion choices rarely reflect who they are,” Winters said. “I wanted to create something powerful because it’s wearable in both public and kink spaces. While women have latex, leather and lingerie to express their identity, men are left with very few options. That’s why I’ve designed something stylish, confident and subtly aligned with who they are, without needing to scream it.”
With “clean lines, premium fabric, and a refined monochrome print, the tee is as much about identity as it is about style," the promo materials add. "Winters—known for her outspoken work in the BDSM community—has made it clear: this isn’t a gimmick. It’s a movement.”
