RIALTO, Calif.—A patron at the Spearmint Rhino gentlemen's club in Rialto shot a dancer and then himself during a private dance Wednesday evening, according to local ABC affiliate KABC.
Police responded to a report of the shooting at 7:20 p.m. They told KABC the shooter, in his 40s, was propositioning the dancer for a relationship in one of the club's private areas, and when she did not respond to his advances, he shot her then turned the gun on himself.
The dancer, in her 20s, was hospitalized at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in critical condition. The shooter died on the scene. Neither's identity has been reported.
Approximately 20 people were inside the club at the time of the shooting. No others were injured.
