Sex Work CEO, Silverstein Legal to Host X Space Live on New Regs

CYBERSPACE—Sex Work CEO will host a live discussion on X Spaces with attorney Corey Silverstein regarding the latest Alabama adult content laws and what they mean for adult creators on Tuesday, February 10, at 1 p.m. CT.

“Alarm is spreading across the adult industry as platforms begin restricting or blocking access to creators and users in Alabama following the passage of aggressive new content regulations. To help creators understand what is actually happening and why it matters, Sex Work CEO will host a live [X] Space,” an organization representative said.

The discussion around the growing impact of Alabama’s notarized consent and age verification requirements will explore why platforms are choosing to leave the state rather than comply, what the law technically requires, and how these changes fit into a broader pattern of state-level regulation targeting adult content.

“I’m looking forward to returning to this amazing Live [X] Space to discuss this essential topic and how it is impacting everyone that is part of the adult entertainment industry,” Silverstein said. “I will do my best to answer some of the industry’s most pressing questions and provide guidance on how to proceed.”

The conversation will be hosted by MelRose Michaels, founder of Sex Work CEO, an educational platform focused on helping adult creators build sustainable, informed businesses through strategy, education and community.

The live discussion will also touch on broader First Amendment concerns, platform risk avoidance strategies and what creators should prioritize right now "to stay informed without panic," the rep added.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, at 1 p.m. CT, live at this link on X Spaces.
