Pineapple Support Launches New Corporate Wellbeing Services

LOS ANGELES—Pineapple Support, an adult industry mental health nonprofit, has launched Wellbeing by PS, a new corporate well-being service designed to help companies and agencies provide flexible, on-demand mental health support for their teams.

"The new website allows businesses operating in high-risk industries to purchase pay-as-you-go wellbeing services for their workforce,” a representative said.

Wellbeing by PS allows companies to pre-purchase 30-minute well-being check-ins, 50-minute therapy sessions or facilitated support groups, providing access to mental health support without fixed annual contracts.

Services are delivered anonymously and supported by Pineapple Support’s network of more than 600 registered mental health professionals, with all proceeds reinvested into the organization’s nonprofit mental health services.

“Companies want to support their teams, but many existing well-being models are not always accessible or financially practical,” said Leya Tanit, founder and CEO of Pineapple Support. “Wellbeing by PS provides a way for businesses to offer meaningful mental health support without long-term contracts, while also directly contributing to the sustainability of mental health services within the industry.”

Tanit launched Pineapple Support in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 19,000 adult performers to mental health services including free and low-cost therapy, counseling and emotional support.
